Can I sign up for AT&T Worldnet Service without ordering their software?
Yes, you can! Go to the AT&T Worldnet Service sign-up page and choose to sign up online. You can choose to download software to configure your current software, or, you can choose to configure it yourself with the information provided. Your operating system doesn't matter if you configure your software yourself.
Where can I find a list of AT&T Worldnet Service POPs (local numbers)?

Does AT&T Worldnet Service provide fixed or randomly assigned IP addresses?
IP addresses are dynamically assigned at login. AT&T Worldnet Service does not provide static IP addresses.
Does AT&T Worldnet Service provide personal Web pages?

Does AT&T Worldnet Service provide a personal ftp site?
No, and we're not aware of any plans to do so.
Does AT&T Worldnet Service provide a news server?
Yes, and there are thousands of newsgroups available. More are added every day.

No, there are no shell accounts.
Does AT&T Worldnet Service provide an IRC server?
No, I'm afraid not. Check our Chat FAQ for information on other IRC servers and additional chat options.

Where can I find my account information?
If you installed the AT&T Worldnet software on your computer, search your hard drive for one of the following files. Click the Start button, select Find, and then select Files or Folders. Type the file name in the Named: box and click the Find Now button.
- CM (Connection Manager) 5.x or earlier: account.txt
- CSM (Connection Services Manager) 6.x or later: acctinfo.HTM
We have an example of the account.txt file here.
If you're using CSM, you can also find your account information under Settings -> Customer Care -> Account Summary. If you're on $14.95 or 7/7 price plans, the information is abbreviated.

Can I access my AT&T Worldnet account information from another ISP?
Yes, you can!
In addition to being able to access your account information, you can also access your e-mail and newsgroups and publish your personal Web pages from another ISP. See the following for additional information:
